Lyon is a city located in France and has wide area. It is located in the east of France between two rivers named as Rhône and Saone, and the people are known as Lyonnais. There are many chemical and biotechnical industries and Lyon is also famous for software industries. At the time of World War II Lyon was the centre of German forces. Lyon has the third largest public square in the France and Europe's largest parks. The climate of Lyon is approximately very good to visit. Winters in the Lyon are cooler then the rest of the areas of the France. Sights to visit
UNESCO world heritage site - it is the site which is now treated as history of the Lyon. This site includes roman districts, which is also known as silk district.

African museum of Lyon - it is the oldest museum which was made in 1861 by mission Africanise. From the 1998 it was started to refurbishment and reopened in 2001. Now days it is divided into three parts such as: - social life, everyday life and religious life. There is a huge collection of West Africans objects in this museum.

The roman era theatre - it is an ancient theatre of fourviere in the Lyon. It is located on the hill side of the fourviere. This theatre is made in 15BC with the capacity of 10000 people. In these days it is a beautiful historic site for the visitors.

Cathedral church - This church was made in 1476 and it is 80 meter long building with 20 meter wide from the choir. It was rebuilt by merklin-schutze in 1875. There is a clock on the cathedral from the 14th century.

Shopping in Lyon
For shopping Lyon's part dieu shopping centre is very famous, there are about 230 stores in this shopping centre. It is the one of the largest shopping centre in the Europe. There are many restaurants for eating and drinking.
